Isn’t my new web look fabulous? It’s the perfect\u00a0opening to begin a countdown of Janis Joplin Rise Up Singing<\/em><\/a>. Do I need to remind you it’s coming out\u00a0October\u00a04?<\/p>\n It is.<\/p>\n I’m planning to celebrate this biography with a book launch<\/strong> and karaoke\u00a0in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin with the lovely\u00a0Indie booksellers at Little Read Book<\/a>, followed\u00a0by karaoke at The Chancery<\/a> which is right next\u00a0door. There will be lots of fun and prizes including psychedelic gel bracelets and T-shirts for the best voice and look-a-likes. The plan is to get the Chancery rocking like Woodstock. And here’s the best news:\u00a0You’re all invited.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, you can pre-order the book from your favorite bookstore and keep track of the countdown with\u00a0tweets and Facebook updates.<\/p>\n Please let me know what you think of the new look!
